And Chase's father, Leif Ringwall, said he has a lot to be proud of.
"I drove by that site, and what scares me is that there were no skid marks and no one was there to see it," he said."I could have very easily driven past it and never known there was an accident. I believe my son saved their lives because no one would have known they were down there."
"Yeah," Susan Ringwall said. "He really saved the day."
"No," her husband said. "He saved your life."
